Call Before You Dig!
811 is a free service for use by both commercial and residential entities. Prior to any digging an 811 call must be put in or a form submitted on their site so that the work place may be surveyed for any utility lines. If a utility line is hit and an 811 call was not performed the person responsible for the dig and any outside contractor will be fined.
